The High Feeling

The high feeling . What is this feel exactly ? How good or bad is this feeling ? What goes through your mind when you are high ? How do you attain this feeling ? Well I will try to answer this questions in this post . Well this might seem as a boring post but when I am putting this post on my blog , I am a bit high . All apologies to my readers if there is any spelling or grammatical mistakes .
To begin with I would start with what is this feel exactly . Well this is a feel of elation and happiness or of frustration and misery . This is a feel where you feel feel good about everything around you or you tend to let your sorrow out. You are in a state where you don't care what people think about your actions or your statements .Its a feeling where you loose some of your consciousness. You don't care what the world things about you . You are just your own self . Its a feeling of you being unchained from the chains of the human obligations ,society constraints , circumstantial fear . You have an outpour of your emotions or feelings. You tend to get sentimental.This is a state where mind tends to loose control over your body .

Is this a good or bad feeling ? I think its relative. If you get a feeling of elation or happiness its probably good , You tend to entertain people around you . You try to cheer up others. You tend to concentrate on what you are doing .If you can control your high feeling there is nothing like it . But sometimes people tend to let their frustration out , there is no feeling as bad as that. You tend to disturb people around you . People tend to get violent and they disturb the whole surroundings around them . They just turn insane.If you cant control your high , you try to do something dare devilish and equally stupid and end up getting screwed . So if you can control your high its worth every moment . However if you can't take the feeling you don't have any right to disturb others and get yourself into trouble .
When you get this feeling what goes through your mind ? Well ,you tend to get easy with the system around you . You tend to loose all your fear, be it for seen or unforeseen . All emotions and sentiments keep ringing bells all around in your brain . You do whatever you feel like and speak your mind out . You either let your happiness out or you get seriously sentimental and speak out your frustrations and failures out . You speak your secrets out sometimes .So this feelings leads to a state of utter chaos and randomness if its uncontrolled and a feeling of happiness and joy if controlled .
Then finally how do you reach this state of mind ?Well this state can be achieved when you taste success or victory or you intoxicate yourself with some booze or grass or some biological or chemical drug .If you are high on success you tend to feel a sense of achievement . But in case of intoxicant you may have a happy or sad feeling. You should understand the limit of the intoxicant you are taking that would give you a optimal high . If you fail to know your limit it might lead you to fall sick and even death . So its up to you to actually understand this limit .
I would end this post by saying that high feeling is a good and amazing feeling if you have things under control . Otherwise you are not worth getting high and troubling yourself and other people .

Sale of Pappu

I would like to share with you some of the funny incidents that happenned in my college life . Well I would like to share these with my readers . No offences meant to anybody .

This was an incident that took place in the fifth semester. We had a subject called system software in fifth semester in computer science engineering .We used to have internals for all subjects and system software was no exception . Our HOD had made a strict rule that people getting less than 20 on 50 had to meet him . Well meeting him implied a long session with him where he used to screw your happiness .It included threats such as call your parents, cancellation of placements , suspension for a week etc. Oviously nobody ever wanted to meet our beloved HOD .

I didnot study at all for this paper for my internals .I found company in one of my friends who also didnot study for this subject . He happenned to be in a different section but we had a common teacher whom we had nicknamed "Pappu" .Well after the internals the results were published and our answer scripts were given to us. It so happenned that the answer scripts were shown a day earlier for my friend . As expected he had done badly .He had scored 13 on 50. He didnot want to meet the HOD . So he went to the teacher and asked for grace marks . "Pappu" was merciless and he was adamant on not giving the grace .

Now comes the interesting part . My friend keeps pestering the teacher . But its of no use . Finally he comes up with a trump card . He tells Pappu that if he would not give him grace HOD would call him. HOD would screw his happiness and cancel his placements. Once his placements are cancelled his life would be ruined . He would have no hope in life and he would commit suicide.Hearing this our great Pappu freaks out and in our language we would say "uski phat ke haat mein aa gayi thi" . He gives my friend grace .

My friend tells me this story in the evening .As I too had not studied for the subject , I too didnot have hopes of getting more than twenty . My friend had already played the ultimate trump card . I too did not enjoy the idea of meeting my HOD .The next morning I went to the college .

Pappu had the first class.He started giving us our answer scripts. I got 15 on 50 . I too was kind of tensed as to how I could manage a 5 mark grace from him. Initially I started pestering him ,pleading him to give me 20 .He was as usual merciless.He didnot pay heed to my words . Finally I played my masterstroke . I told him that my friend had got 13 and he made it 20 just because he had told a lie that freaked him out.But I added that i am telling the truth that I wouldn't commit suicide. So he should give me the grace. Pappu was in a state of shock .He used to think he was very shrewd and clever .We managed to beat him . He gave me 20 and asked me to keep the story within three of us . Well I told my other fellow classmates who had got less than 20 .So he had to give grace to a lot of people . He was kind of shattered by our trick . He used avoid confrontation with me or my friend .

When I think of this today I still have a hearty laugh thinking how we had fooled Pappu .In our language we had successfully managed to "katofy" Pappu. We were like "Humne pappu ko bech diya" meaning we sold Pappu .

Terrorism,Pakistan and Islam-Is there a Link?

I guess you guys would be thinking why I have chosen to give such a heading . Well I wanted to clear all the three terms . How they are inter related among each other ? What exactly is the difference between the above terms . To begin with I would explain all the three terms .

Lets start with terrorism. Whats terrorism? Its the act of frightening people . Terrorism is the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion. Its the use of violence to terrorise people. Its an act to deter humans from living a life free from fear. In many countries, acts of terrorism are legally distinguished from criminal acts done for other purposes, and "terrorism" is defined by statute; see definition of terrorism for particular definitions. Common principles among legal definitions of terrorism provide an emerging consensus as to meaning and also foster cooperation between law enforcement personnel in different countries. Among these definitions there are several that do not recognize the possibility of legitimate use of violence by civilians against an invader in an occupied country and would, thus label all resistance movements as terrorist groups. Others make a distinction between lawful and unlawful use of violence. Ultimately, the distinction is a political judgment.In November 2004, a United Nations Security Council report described terrorism as any act "intended to cause death or serious bodily harm to civilians or non-combatants with the purpose of intimidating a population or compelling a government or an international organization to do or abstain from doing any act."

Terrorists are the people who practise this hideous acts. They dont belong to any country or religion. They are basically murderers of humanity . Be it Osama Bin laden or Adolf Hitler or Prabhakaran . They all can be classified as terrorists, though they had their own motives behind the killing of innocent people . Killing of innocent people for whatever reason is classified as an act of terrorism. Terrorism has never given the mankind anything other pain,misery and sorrow. It has been a medium to disturb the delicate harmonic balance that prevails over the world. Religion has been a motivating factor that has been promoting terrorism though no religion in the world ever advocates the use of terror in spreading the religion.Its just that some of the fools who have a partial knowledge of their religion have resorted to terror to popularise their religion.

Now I come to the second word of my heading "Pakistan". Well Pakistan is a country formed out from British India in 1947 .The word "Pakistan" in urdu means land of the pure.It is basically a Muslim dominated country .It includes the Indus plains and the deserts of Baluchistan deserts. Its the land of the great Indus valley civilization, the great Mohenjadaro culture . The major residents of this country are the pathans,jats,pashtuns,turks,arabs etc.

After the independence the country had seen miltary regime as well as democracy. since independence this country has had its own share of problems like poverty,illiteracy and most of the problems of the third world countries. Despite this fact it has been constantly waging war with India on the Kashmir issue and there seems no solution to it. Though kashmir has been a integral part of India ,Pakistan has been funding the terrorist activities as well as violence in kashmir since its independence. It has occupied a part of kashmir in 1948 .These terrorism activities have been funded financially by the Pakistan government and has been backed by the so called islam fundamentalists . I will give a perfect reason why I call these as so called later in my post.The recent attacks in Mumbai, the kargil invasion, the attack on Indian parliament were acts by pakistanis. Many terrorist organisations such as Lashkar e taiba, Jaih e Mohammed and many others have their bases and training camps in Pakistan which is actively funded by ISI and other government elements of pakistan and those fundamentalists.The government of pakistan has been an absolute failure in curbing the fundamentalists.These fundamentalists have started brainwashing the innocent teenagers of the country . They have done this so systematically that these kids have a hypnotic effect on them. They are ready to kill people on their masters orders.By masters I refer to those fundamentalists who brainwash these young kids who are not mature enough to understand what they are doing. A whole lot of young generation in Pakistan has been taking this path. As a result of this the developement of the country which depends on the young generation is hampered .The future of the country are these youngsters who are being made to do acts of insanity.The economy of the country is in doldrums with no foreign investers comingdue to security concerns. Teams scheduled to tour Pakistan are calling of their tours. There is a lot of violence inside pakistan on the western elements present in Pakistan .

The effect of all these has resulted in the people around the world thinking pakistan as a terrorist nation . Development has been hardly there. Condition of people in Pakistan has not improved . Economy of Pakistan has not improved. Social security of women has been less . The worst part is Pakistanis are associated with acts of terror even if they are not involved . The nation of Mohammed Ali Jinnah or Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is now associated with terror . Isn't this sad ? I dont think common people in Pakistan would love this tag of terrorist for no fault of their's .Like all other races they would love to see prosperity, peace ,development and other things happen in their country. Even Benazir Bhutto , their former prime minister has fallen victim to terrorism.I guess this is a wake up call for the people of Pakistan to fight against these growing fundamentalist elements .

Now I come to the third term Islam . Well Islam is a religion founded by Prophet Mohammed in the 7th century in the city of Medina . It is a monotheistic and Abrahamic religion .It is the second largest religion in the world .Islam means to surrender oneself to god. People who follow this religion is called Muslim . They are required to follow the five pillars of Islam i.e

The shahadah, which is the basic creed or tenet of Islam: "'ašhadu 'al-lā ilāha illā-llāhu wa 'ašhadu 'anna muħammadan rasūlu-llāh", or "I testify that there is none worthy of worship except God and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of God." This testament is a foundation for all other beliefs and practices in Islam. Muslims must repeat the shahadah in prayer, and non-Muslims wishing to convert to Islam are required to recite the creed

Salah, or ritual prayer, which must be performed five times a day. Each salah is done facing towards the Kaaba in Mecca. Salah is intended to focus the mind on God, and is seen as a personal communication with him that expresses gratitude and worship. Salah is compulsory but flexibility in the specifics is allowed depending on circumstances. In many Muslim countries, reminders called Adhan (call to prayer) are broadcast publicly from local mosques at the appropriate times. The prayers are recited in the Arabic language, and consist of verses from the Qur'an.

Zakat, or alms-giving. This is the practice of giving based on accumulated wealth, and is obligatory for all Muslims who can afford it. A fixed portion is spent to help the poor or needy, and also to assist the spread of Islam. The zakat is considered a religious obligation (as opposed to voluntary charity) that the well-off owe to the needy because their wealth is seen as a "trust from God's bounty". The Qur'an and the hadith also suggest a Muslim give even more as an act of voluntary alms-giving (sadaqah)

Sawm, or fasting during the month of Ramadan. Muslims must not eat or drink (among other things) from dawn to dusk during this month, and must be mindful of other sins. The fast is to encourage a feeling of nearness to God, and during it Muslims should express their gratitude for and dependence on him, atone for their past sins, and think of the needy. Sawm is not obligatory for several groups for whom it would constitute an undue burden. For others, flexibility is allowed depending on circumstances, but missed fasts usually must be made up quickly. Some Muslim groups do not fast during Ramadan, and instead have fasts different times of the year.

The Hajj, which is the pilgrimage during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah in the city of Mecca. Every able-bodied Muslim who can afford it must make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in his or her lifetime. When the pilgrim is about ten kilometers from Mecca, he must dress in Ihram clothing, which consists of two white seamless sheets. Rituals of the Hajj include walking seven times around the Kaaba, touching the Black Stone, running seven times between Mount Safa and Mount Marwah, and symbolically stoning the Devil in Mina. The pilgrim, or the hajji, is honored in his or her community, although Islamic teachers say that the Hajj should be an expression of devotion to God instead of a means to gain social standing .

Apart from this,Islamic law covers all aspects of life, from matters of state, like governance and foreign relations, to issues of daily living. The Qur'an defines hudud as the punishments for five specific crimes: unlawful intercourse, false accusation of unlawful intercourse, consumption of alcohol, theft, and highway robbery. The Qur'an and Sunnah also contain laws of inheritance, marriage, and restitution for injuries and murder, as well as rules for fasting, charity, and prayer.

Islam is a tolerant religion . It doesn't demean any other religion . It does not advocate the use of terror to spread itself. It respects life. It believes in helping the poor. It is a rational religion.

But nowadays some people whom I have referred as so called fundamentalists have misinterpreted Islam and have shown the followers of Islam wrong path .They have put venom in quite a substantial population of muslims and have shown them the path of terror,hatred and so called Jihad. I call this Jihad so called because the meaning of Jihad is fight against evil and not fight against humanity. These people are evil. So I guess the people who are fighting against them are the true jihadis . i.e the cops,the soldiers who are fighting against these terrorists. I don't think by hatred and fear one can spread one's religion . Its by love and devotion a religion goes forward. By the use of terror,hatred and violence ,one can only send the message that either he or she is utterly confused about his or her religion or his or her religion is not that great . I think Islam is a great religion and fundamentalists should try understanding the teachings of Islam properly rather than misinterpreting it and filling venom in other peoples life.A follower of Allah cant kill an innocent human in his name. These half knowledgeable, misinterpreting fundamentalists are nothing but devils poisoning some people resulting in the death and misery of many others.

Now comes the link part . Is there any link ? Well there wouldn't have been a link had there been sane logical fundamentalist elements in Islam .The flaw lies in the so called fundamentalists who have given bad name and a terror tag to all Muslims around the world .The problem is these stupid irrational people have proclaimed themselves as the leaders of the Muslim community in some parts of the world. These people are the plague among the Muslim world who are preach hatred and terror among the young generation of the Muslim world . Pakistan is a home to a lot of such irrational,illogical people who did not understand Mohammed and his preachings . Hence they have misinterpreted them completely.So now there lies the link between the three words .
Let me substantiate this claim with examples.In the recent terror attacks in Mumbai ,the terrorists of were the age group between 20-25 . People of this age are quite immature and these people are the ones who are brainwashed systematically by the "so called" fundamentalists . So the people brainwashing them are the ones at fault first. The ones executing are nothing but basically weapons to terrorise people.Its these fundamentalists who are the ones spreading terror from the background. Even the 9 11 attacks or the London attacks had the same young people being used as the weapons to spread terrorism .
Inorder to control terrorism we have to first destroy this terror eggs laying hens .Once these hens are destroyed we can destroy their nests and their eggs.

Now I should conclude that the first term has nothing to do with the other two terms had there been no misinterpreting muslim scholars and fundamentalists who have changed the definition of Muslims,Pakistanis. A Pakistani is not a terrorist niether is a muslim a terrorist . The terrorist element is the fundamentalists who didnot have the basic intelligence to understand Islam properly and in turn has misinterpreted it and has spread this venom of hatred ,fear and terror. They are the evil elements.Lets declare a Jihad against these evil elements of the world. if we have to counter or eradicate terrorism we have to kill these terror viruses who are infecting the muslim world and spreading the disease of hatred and terror . Let we as fellow humans help our muslim brothers and sisters in their time of need and wipe out these irresponsible virii of the society and the contractors of terror .
